Bleeding during passing stools
Itching or irritation in the anus
Pain while passing stools
Lumps near the anus
Piles can be diagnosed by a visual examination of the anal area. To ensure there are no abnormalities or complications, the doctor may perform a digital rectal exam in which a lubricated, gloved finger is inserted into the anus. A colonoscopy may also be done on the recommendation of the doctor to ensure there are no digestive disorders.
There are two major types of surgery options:
Traditional open surgery
Advanced laser treatment
Doctors will prescribe medications and dietary plans which include intake of 2-3 litres of water and intake of fibre rich food
Some of the fibre rich food are whole grains, wheat pasta, whole wheat bread, Barley, Carrot, Berry, broccoli, sweet corn, potatoes with skin.
