Dr. Vimal Vibhakar is highly experienced laparoscopic general surgeon, retired from the lndian Navy, with two decades of surgical expertise. He is a trained laser proctologist. He served in the Indian Navy for 23 years (Jan 1997 - Feb 2020) as a Professor, General Surgeon & Indian Naval Hospital administrator (Dec 2016 - Feb 2020). He worked as a General Surgeon for last 18 years, in tertiary care hospital, more than 320 & 850 plus-bedded hospital with rich experience in Laparoscopic Surgery, Laser proctology Surgeries, Damage Control Surgery, Disaster Management, Sports Injuries including orthopedic cases (closed Manual Reductions, Dislocations, Fractures)

  • Commendation by the Flag Officer Commanding-in-chief Western Naval Command on 15 Aug 2016 for single handedly managing the General surgery department with utmost dedication & managing post graduate trainee nurses & paramedical and actively involved in real disaster situations at INHS Asvini Colaba Mumbai.
